Article 1 – Purpose of the Rental Agreement
The accommodation is rented furnished as a “short-term rental” for the period indicated in the Details section. The accommodation is located at the address mentioned in the same section.
Article 2 – Rental Conditions
The Lessor rents the accommodation to the Lessee for the period indicated in the Details section. The stay is non-renewable. The Lessee agrees to vacate the accommodation completely on the checkout date and time indicated in the Details section and to return the keys to the Lessor.
The number of persons present is indicated in the Details section. At the beginning of the rental, the Lessor will provide the Lessee with the keys and the instructions relating to the accommodation.
The Parties have agreed to set the rental price indicated in the Details section for the entire duration of the stay.
To proceed with the reservation of the accommodation, the Lessee must return this signed rental agreement to the Lessor. The Lessee must present an identity document to the Lessor upon arrival.
Article 3 – Security Deposit
On the day before entry into the premises, the Lessee authorizes the Lessor to make a bank card imprint in the amount indicated in the Details section to cover any damage and/or deterioration of the accommodation, furniture, and objects furnishing the accommodation caused by the Lessee, as well as the loss of keys or objects.
This deposit will be returned to the Lessee 48 hours after checkout, provided that the accommodation is returned in its original condition upon the return of the keys.
Article 4 – Obligations of the Lessee
Animals and smoking are not allowed in the accommodation.
No noise should disturb the neighbors.
Internet use must comply with Hadopi laws.
The Lessee cannot make any claim against the Lessor in the event of theft or damage in the accommodation.
Article 5 – Internet Access
The Lessee, having access to the Internet, undertakes not to use this access for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available, or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software, and video games, without authorization.
The Lessee is informed that a file-sharing software, when connected to the Internet, may automatically make downloaded files available. If file-sharing software has been used to download protected works, it is therefore advisable to disable it.
The Lessee is also required to comply with the security policy defined by the Lessor as well as the rules for using the network and computer equipment.
It is reminded that the holder of Internet access, in this case the Lessor, is required to secure this access so that it is not used for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available, or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright or related rights, under penalty of incurring criminal liability.
This responsibility of the holder of the access does not exclude that of the Lessee, who may be charged with an offense of counterfeiting (Article L. 335-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code).
Article 6 – Liability
The Lessor cannot be held liable in the event of theft or damage to the tenant’s personal belongings.
The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation and its contents.
Article 7 – Check-in and Check-out
The check-in and check-out times are those indicated at the time of booking.
Article 8 – Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
